Music to my eyes is a photographic and editorial installation presented at Print Arles in 2025.

It recounts the flashes of light, the shifts, the improbable and sometimes strange associations that occur in us when we come into contact with music. A whole visual and textual imagination, borrowed from everyday life and triggered by music, unfolds through the intersecting eyes of different photographers.

Music invokes. Images evoke. Memories, sensations, lives once lived.

The tangible density of perceived time, the “real” life which sometimes slips to the frontier of our consciousness, beyond the reach of language. 

To let images and lyrics converse is to create a space for something new to arise. For something deep-buried to resurface. For a sudden epiphany to occur.

If language stands as a sign, music resonates as an act of revelation. A site for encounters
